Brighter than thousand_suns
We count from the beginning of each album. Which track number is your favourite? Track number 8, for example, includes classics like Rime and Paschendale. It also includes less memorable stuff like Chains of Misery and Hooks In You.

Take into account all the albums, and consider the track listing of the remastered albums (meaning 9 songs on Iron Maiden and NOTB, 11 on Killers).

I need time to think about mine. Today I listened to all the songs listed as no 3 on their respective albums, and that was 75 minutes of great listening  :D

So, the song Powerslave alone is enough to win the competition for 7?

I need to think about this a little - but from the top of my head, 5 has loads of good songs - Phantom of the Opera, Number of the Beast, The Trooper, Longest Day ... not to forget Seventh Son.

Nah, rather not. Then Hallowed wouldn't be 8.

I think that's a good thing. It makes the choice harder for most voters. If 8 has Hallowed in addition to Rime and Paschendale, it wins on walk-over.

5 does have some awesome tracks. And you can't really go wrong with 1 either. Maiden's album openers are always great.

Oh, and about Powerslave:
Yeah, I guess it is enough. If it's not my Favorite IM track, it's in the top 3.

And that's exactly what I wanted. :p

Alright, I'll give it a thought. :)

I worked mine out mathmatically!

Track No       Rating
Track 12          8
Track 2      7.142857143
Track 5      6.785714286
Track 1      6.714285714
Track 9          6.5
Track 3      6.357142857
Track 8      6.285714286
Track 10    6.166666667
Track 4+7  5.928571429
Track 6      5.857142857
Track 11        4.75

I'm not counting Track 12 because only FOTD applies. I thought track 2 would be my top one: Revelations, Children Of The Damned, Rainmaker, These Colours Don't Run, Wasted Years and Infinite Dreams all got over 8. I'm surprised track 8 was so low, but for every Paschendale you get a Chains of Misery.

I voted track eight (Paschendale, Rime); I thought it was an easy win.
Then I remembered that these are some of my favourite songs: Prowler, The Ides of March, Invaders, Where Eagles Dare, Aces High, Moonchild, Sign of the Cross, The Wicker Man, Wildest Dreams and Different World.
I should've voted track 1!

Just went through song no 1 on all albums. Another great listen  :D Still having a hard time to make up my mind.

PS; Mind made up. I'll go with number 8. OK, it has got some very, very unmemorable stuff (I'm looking at you, Hooks In You). On the other hand, it has got Rime, Alexander, Only The Good Die Young and Paschendale. In addition we get FTGGOG, The Nomad and the underrated Como Estais Amigos.

And they sing "Seven Deadly Sins, Seven Ways to Win..." in tracks 1 and 8. 8-1=7!

Also, BITV, "I see sixes all the way," is track 6.

Number three. You've got a lot of great material there: "Remember Tomorrow", "Murders in the Rue Morgue", "Sea of Madness", "No Prayer for the Dying", "Afraid to Shoot Strangers", "Brave New World", "Brighter Than a Thousand Suns"...

I'm at a Losfer Words, are you Playing With Madness? Please, tell No More Lies, track 2 is much better. Now fly on your way, like an eagle.

Wrathchild, Children of the Damned, Revelations, 2 Minutes, Wasted Years, Infinite Dreams, Ghost of the Navigator, Rainmaker, These Colours Don't Run

Track 2 is consistently one of the best songs on the album, no matter which version of Iron Maiden (debut album) you have. Those more than make up for the only questionable #2 (something about Angels Gambling).

It came down to #1 vs. #2 for me. But head to head I went with #2, mostly due to the classic era #2s.

Prowler (1-0)
Wrathchild (1-1)
Children (1-2)
Revelations (1-3)
23:58 (1-4)
Wasted (1-5)
Infinite (1-6)
Holy Smoke (1-7)
Be Quick (2-7)
Sign (3-7)
Futureal (4-7)
Wicker (5-7)
Rainmaker (5-8)
These Colours (5-9)

I guess we members of this forum have at least seen one gay porn movie. Could you guys please recommend some really good ones which are your favourite? Thanks a lot. Cheers
