Favorite Club Music

Don’t front, we all have at least one favorite cheesy club song. Rules of this thread are that you have to post a link to the song on Youtube or whatever works.

Don’t let me down (looking at you lot east of the Atlantic).

To start, here’s Alice Deejay from 1997 .

Nice pick! When it comes to this type of music I prefer some melancholy and a good melody. This one has both!

For my pick I had to be a little chauvinistic.

I absolutely hate clubs and I absolutely hate the type of music, so the stuff I do like means it's overcome some serious bias, right?

Anyway, I'm n00b, I like the notorious Children, for all the nostalgia

Sunchyme, again for the nostalgia

Modjo, again from the nostalgia

and Daft Punk's One More Time, which has really similar sound to the previous

I'll post other songs once I'll remember them

Part 2

This is technically probably not club music, at least mostly, but it's been played a lot around here around the tail end of the 90s and it makes me feel warm inside

This has a cool vibe (and shout out to Dave from Eurythmics)

I hate Eurodisco with a passion, but some of those are surprisingly tolerable

(better than Rhythm of the Night that got back into public consciousness, since the project's name was Corona, lol)

Heh, do you remember when Sonique was big?

I've only set foot in a club once and don't have much desire to do it again, but I might be persuaded if this banging tune was on:

As for me I am very partial to this hit:

You reminded me of the time the divas were all trying to be a-clubbin', around the turn of the millennium.

This was just about two years before the song you posted

or

These were the "millennium countdown songs", for better or worse. Can't Get You Out of My Head was a logical follow-up... or at least it felt that way.

(BTW, Impossible Princess by Minogue, although much earlier, is a good example of an attempt to do club music, yet to make it quite artistic, IMHO)

Also, this is kinda terrible, but I suppose I have it as one of my guilty pleasures
