In October, I was at the release party of the album "Reign In Glory" by a German metal band called Majesty. I learned that this concert was being filmed for DVD release.
Well, I got it today. It's called "Metal Law".
It's a two-CD +1 DVD set with the concert, a new song and some DVD specials. It's an odd thing seeing a concert you were at on DVD, especially when you were in front row. Everything's there- the insane guy spilling beer over the guitarist (I got some of that beer as well!), the singer jumping all around and peering into the crowd, the guitarist holding the guitar into the crowd... I haven't seen point where the drummer tosses his stick into the audience and I caught it, yet. But then, I've gotten the DVD this morning and haven't watched it through yet.
You can also see me quite often (esp. at the beginning of the track "Sword And Sorcery").
I will post an in-depth review when I've watched the whole thing through, and if there is interest on this board.
Anyway, the gig was great, so if you ever find this album, GET IT!
Just one thing, the cover art is truly horrible. I haven't got a problem with clicheed fantasy pics, but the main character of the picture looks very poor, out of proportion and somehow stupid.
Other than that though, this is a must-have!
