Considering how things are going, I think Germany will undergo what we now might be able to call the "Melonization" of politics. Past outsiders realize that social media rhetoric is just that, rhetoric. Ironically the opposition here is not the left per se but the right, so it ends up becoming a thing of musical chairs to "prove" they are the ones who can do it "how it's supposed to be done".
