Eddie's Archive

I only ask because ive ordered all three new, so far best of b-sides has arrived in  perfect condition still in wrap .
So whos taking the box sets  apart makes no sense.

You do occasionally see them pop up in eBay and the like - but I doubt their authenticity. They could be genuine, but why break up such a box-set?

As SMX said, they were never officially released as individual CD's.

I guess this can be done by looking at the underneath of the CD (the playing side) - you should see some EMI markings.

As does mine - on CD2 (5412802 on CD1). I very much doubt a fake CD would have these EMI markings.

It does make me wonder why people would break up these box-sets. Oh well, each to their own.

I was just going to make a thread like this. Has anyone ever seen them sold seperatly at a used CD store or something? I just want to know if they have ever been sold in stores seperatly.

since its a double album it's unlikely but it depends on the store. They had POM for 2 bucks too.

I remeber when Eddies Archive came out, it was about £70 in my local music shop. As i was young at the time i couldnt afford it straight away, however it completely sold out so i never got it. Why did they stop making it? The only copies of the boxsets i can find are well over £200 and 2nd hand.

Maybe they should release them on itunes that way everbody can get the songs and those who bought the  box set still get rare cds ect they paid for.
