There's a comprehensive commentary about that game on the IMC  :)

I'd normally say no, because the game is not worth playing. But there are two things about the first disc of music that make it interesting to me:
1. It's the best Iron Maiden compilation. In fact, when I have a friend who isn't into Maiden but is willing to give their music a listen, this is the disc I give them to check out.
2. It contains an unlisted bonus track at the end: studio version of Bruce singing Wrathchild (Bruce's vocal dubbed over instrumental track from Killers). This is the only official release that contains that track, I think.

Unfortunately it wasn't on the European release  :(

Yes, but I think he's more concerned about the game, which is a bit naff.  If you can find Ed Hunter for a tenner, I would say that you should consider it.  Otherwise, if you want a greatest hits collection, just get Best of the Beast, or wait until they do another one after the final album.

I was indeed wondering about the game, but also the discs.
I'm thinkin of buying it for about 10 euro's, because i like the older songs the best, especially the first 2 albums totally rule :P to my opinion, listen to that much more then the new albums.

tnx for the advice guys

Raven, I would prefer Ed Hunter for the music over the 1-CD version of Best Of The Beast. This is because, upon reading my earlier post, I find that I forgot to include a key phrase that I meant to put there. Which is...

It's the best Iron Maiden compilation on a single disc.

Remember, I'm speaking only of the first disc of Ed Hunter. In my opinion, it beats both ETG and the 1-CD BOTB.
However, the 2-CD BOTB or the Ultimate collection are better than any 1-CD compilation.

Am I correct that the content is a result of poll on the official website? This may be the reason why the selection is that good :-)

The songs are indeed the best on any compilation I've seen not done by me :D. However, I think, like a few here, that is the only good reason why to get it. The game is obsolete by now and from what I've read/heard it wasn't all that great to begin with, better get an xbox 360 and get Halo 3, Halo Wars, Gears of War, and DOA extreme Volley Ball 2 ;)

Well, if you can find one for 20 quid.... ;)

You got me there Raven, the price is right. However there are games that even if they were free you wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole. Bible Adventures comes to mind :D

Now Ed Hunter is WAY better than that... not comparing it, just saying that sometimes price isn't everything.
