Did Iron Maiden borrow the guitar riff from Riot for "2 Minutes to Midnight"?

Also, Janick Gers' White Spirit - Midnight Chaser from 1980 predating Riot.
All must have been influenced somehow from something but those riffs are common and typical indeed.
So as they were somehows influenced by something, I wouldn't necessarily and automatically say that any borrowed or stoled anything.
Some people claim things but each to their own..listening and looking history of heavy metal from what Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin etc did and onwards..there's similar cases.
 
History has time and again had people invent, discover and write the same thing independently of eachother. There are a finite number of notes. Musicians will come up with almost identical songs, riffs and melodies without borrowing, stealing or even share the same influences.
