Dickinson meets Dianno for the first time

Wondering about this headline (presumably by Stepjan Juras)
Obviously Bruce saw Paul perform with Maiden. And they were in the same NWOBHM circles including Maiden supporting Samson, I think. So they must have met in the early 80s already.

It was not the first time, it wasn't even the second or third. Bruce and Paul first met in July 1979 when Iron Maiden supported Samson at the Music Machine on what was Bruce's first show with Samson. Also at The Bingley Hall show in December 1979, then at Reading 80 and when both bands, Maiden and Samson were recording at Battery studios in Jan 1981. As a matter of fact, both bands used to go to the pub near the studio.

There's also the fact they met briefly in the back rooms of Rock in Rio, when the band Kiara Rocks invited Paul to play 3 songs with them (2013). They also seem to have met behind the stage in Donington 1992 (seem to recall and interview where Paul states this)... So there you go. Definitely not the first time
