JackKnife
A Vivid example of masculine pulchritude
Yet another promo interview with Bruce Dickinson published in the French journal Hard Rock (issue 7, July/August 2006).
Bruce delivers the classical promo chat with talent. Some information is significant however.
Bruce explains he contributed to roughly 50% of the lyrics on the new album. He states that if his name appears in the credits therefore he wrote the lyrics. He gives no clue about him contributing to the music per se.
Bruce explains how the writing takes place within the group. When he write with Harris and Smith for example, they begin with acoustic guitars and Bruce sings the melodies. Bruce explains that most of the time Smith comes up with elaborated demos. Harris often whistles the voice melody lines whereas Smith sings (he can!).
The interviewer courageously asks Bruce's comments about the Ozzfest 2005. Bruce vaguely states that he has no regrets about his own attitude.
