The Japanese version of "Issue VI" (via Soundholic Records) will include an exclusive bonus track, "Full-Blown Revenge".
The follow-up to 2003's "Impact", "Issue VI" was recorded at Stage One studios in Borgentreich, Germany with producer Andy Classen (CALLENISH CIRCLE, TANKARD, OCCULT). Classen, who produced the previous DEW-SCENTED albums "Inwards" (2002) and "Impact", "did an outstanding job once [again] and definitely managed to deliver his best production (for us, at least...) ever!" the band write on their web site. The first pressing of the album will contain an exclusive bonus DVD featuring the "Turn to Ash" video clip (shot recently over a two-day period in Leipzig) plus 17 live tracks recorded at various shows, including those in Paris (La Locomotive), Strasbourg (La Laiterie), Ludwigsburg (Rockfabrik), Summer Breeze festival, Wacken Open Air festival as well as a brand new show captured last weekend in Ludwigshafen (Das Haus) at the Metal Meeting XVII festival in front of 700 people.
DEW-SCENTED, who were recently rejoined by guitarist Marvin Vriesde (also in BLO.TORCH and SEVERE TORTURE), will be teaming up with HIGH ON FIRE and MISERY SIGNALS for the "Extreme The Dojo Vol. 14" Japanese tour in June. Confirmed dates are as follows;
Jun. 06 – Nagoya, JPN - Club Quattro
Jun. 07 - Osaka, JPN - Club Quattro
Jun. 09 - Tokyo, JPN - Club Quattro
DEW-SCENTED have been confirmed for this year's Minneapolis Mayhem 2 festival, set to take place on May 6-7 at Star Central in Columbia Heights, Minnesota. Also appearing on the bill will be SODOM, SADUS, USURPER and NOVEMBERS DOOM, among many others.
