Desert Island Discs

OK! I hope this hasnt been done but if you were stuck on a desert island what 5 cds would you have! It doesnt nessecarily have to be Maiden.

Mine are:

7th Son Of A 7th Son - Iron Maiden
Toxicity - System Of A Down
Famous Monsters - Misfits
Sonic Firestorm - Dragonforce
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath - Black Sabbath

There you go!!

Who cares? Given that you also had a CD player, the batteries would run out pretty quickly and I don't think it would be possible to plug it into the mains! [!--emo&:P--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/tongue.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'tongue.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

1. Brave New World-Maiden
2. Dance With Me-T.S.O.L
3. Cuts From the Crypt-The Misftis
4. Whichever Misfits album has Angelfuck and Some kind of Hate on it(I think collection2)
5. Offspring-The Offspring

She didnt tell you Mav? The cd player is solar powered and gathers enough energy during the day to run all night. [!--emo&:D--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/biggrin.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'biggrin.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

Dammit Mav, you beat me to the punch! I wouldn't want cds (for the reasons mentioned) it'd be books, but more importantly I'd want tools to fish and build my raft to get the hell out of there...

How about an exercise bike rigged with a dynamo. Yes I admit the chances of finding one on a desert island are remote, but still not impossible.

Anyway 5 Discs? Well at the moment

Strange Beautiful Music - Joe Satriani
The 7th Song - Steve Vai
Kasabian - Kasabian
Hot Fuss - The Killers
The Libertines - The Libertines

No particular order...

Valley of the Damned - Dragonforce
Legendary Tales - Rhapsody
Powerslave - Iron Maiden
Ecliptica - Sonata Arctica
Kings of Metal - Manowar

I'd take the 5 largest boxed sets in existence. Once on the island I would lash them together to form a raft with coconut pontoons.

come on kids, let's calm down and be friends [!--emo&:)--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/smile.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'smile.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

hmmm... off the top of my head, will probably miss out some important ones:

Down - Nola
Iron Maiden - Piece of Mind (or maybe X factor, can't really decide)
BLAZE - Tenth Dimension
Pantera - The Great Southern Trendkill
Arsis - A Celebration of Guilt
