Sweden's DAWN, featuring ex-members of AFFLICTED, DARK FUNERAL and CRANIUM, are hard at work on their third full-length album, "The Fourfold Furnace", due later in the year through MNW Records.
"We are now flat out in our own studio working on the new album," guitarist Fredrik Söderberg wrote on the band's official web site. "As the new album takes form here are some thoughts about which direction the album goes. This question is frequently asked so here are some thoughts: We have maintained elements of [1998's] 'Slaughtersun (Crown Of Triarchy)'. We have also moved towards a more dark melodic and classic DAWN frame of mind. The classical guitar arrangements and melodies are also more brutal and faster then before. Epic is also a good word for the album."
