According to a posting on DARK TRANQUILLITY's official web site, the European version of the group's upcoming "Live Damage" DVD — due on September 29 through Century Media — will be region-free (code 0), so it will perform correctly on any DVD player. A U.S. release date for the DVD has yet to be announced.
As previously reported, "Live Damage" (view cover here) has a running time of 195 minutes and includes as its main feature a live show that was recorded at Krzemionki Studio TVP in Kraków, Poland on October 7, 2002. Also featured will be a lot of extra and bonus features, such as "bootleg" footage filmed at Zeche Carl in Essen, Germany on November 13, 2002, Gagarin Club, Athens, Greece on October 20, 2002, and La Locomotive in Paris, France on November 19, 2002. Additionally, the disc will contain two video clips ("Monochromatic Stains", "ThereIn"), a fully animated menu, an interview with vocalist Mikael Stanne (28 minutes), band biography and individual members' profiles, discography, photo gallery, art gallery, desktop images, and web links.
According to the band, "the final result has surpassed all expectations. Everything looks and sounds fantastic, and the people at Metal Mind Productions have done a truly excellent job with making the presentation as slick and professional as possible."
