Concerning a game called guitar hero 2.........

Did you bother to read the link you posted for the rest of us? If so, you know as much as we do. Please don't ask us questions we can't answer.
 
Yeah I have, sorry, but I was just wondering if there was anyone here who knows anyone near the band or something.

This is a fan site, mate.  The closest person to the band on here that I know of is gor, and the only contacts he has are the pheriphal members of the entity that is Maiden; artists and the like.  The band and EMI are, as he once remarked to me, on the top floor of 'ivory tower'.  However, I doubt it is an action on Maiden's part...Maiden's music has been used in lots of computer games before (Carmageddon, SSX), so it could just be EMI being picky...bloody record labels.

Erm, I know this is a fan site, that doesnt count out the possibility of someone knowing an important person, hence me asking if there was, and now I know.  If this is how you react to noobs on this forum, then you really need to chill out.

I'm afraid, Raven is right. This is a fansite and if people were really that close to the band, they quite possibly would not post here - although, that may not stop them being one of the guests.

What did Raven say that was so bad? He merely responded to your question in a straight forward manner.
 
I think its a tragedy that Maiden aren't in this game as it's clearly going to be the best game EVER. Maybe the developers didnt want any Maiden in there or maybe its management who said no.
 
Clearly, the thought of someone simulating guitar to H's actual guitar track would blow the PS2's circuits.  They thought it best to leave it out to keep people's sanity intact :P
