Yea, AMOLAD is one of the most impressive performances of Bruce's while in Maiden. To me, he doesn't have any of the vocal strain in his voice that he does in songs like Mother of Mercy one album later.

I think he sounds fab on that song, on fire even. But there's a lot of times folks hear strain in his voice where I just hear "character". His voice tends to have "strained" sounding tones even though he can pitch significantly higher if he wants to.

In the rest of the song he sounds great.

The chorus in The Legacy is definitely a bit overambitious for him, but luckily for once they used multiple vocal lines and effects to cover it up some. I wouldn't call it particularly strained, but definitely a bit out of his comfort zone. Other than that AMOLAD is solid throughout for Bruce's vocals, which is definitely very impressive. I'd argue that overall his voice has more projection and power on DoD, but the difference is still pretty slight.
