Blaze Bayley - The X Factor 30th Anniversary Tour

Ancient Mariner
Blaze will perform The X Factor in its entirety later this year, plus songs off Silicon Messiah and Circle of Stone. This tour marks the first time Blaze Bayley will perform The Unbeliever live. While some tracks from The X Factor — such as Sign of the Cross, Lord of the Flies, Man on the Edge, Fortunes of War, Judgement of Heaven, and 2 A.M. — have featured in Bayley’s solo setlists in recent years, others have been much rarer. Look for the Truth was last performed by Blaze in 2007, The Edge of Darkness in 2009, and both The Aftermath and Blood on the World’s Hands were occasionally in his live shows in 2014.

Really sad right now. Studied in Marseille for two years but am currently living in Brazil, I would have loved to see this live.

I’m so sad that Blaze has not toured in the States (not in recent years anyway).
He played two concerts in Toronto, Canada in 2017 and 2019. Both were at small venues (350 capacity), and neither show was anywhere close to being full. I wonder if it was the same thing with his US shows. Sadly it might not be financially viable for him to play in Canada and/or the US (but I hope I'm wrong).

TXF in full! Awesome. This special album deserves it and Blaze probably likes it more from the two. Will he also do for VXI? I wonder.

The Unbeliever will be great live, the instrumental section needs to be played live. Look For The Truth worked very good live in 2007, while The Edge Of Darkness is quite the atmospheric song live. More plays for The Aftermath and Blood On The World's Hands (live is better imo) too. Cool.

He is sure celebrating the anniversaries this year.

Nice! Got my ticket for Jönköping now. His show last year in my hometown was great and it is my #2 album of their after all. That road trip will be worth it.

Maybe there's even a spot or two for anyone also in southern Sweden also interested in this and wanting to split the fuel price

I gave the album a listen yesterday and was glad to see that Fortunes of War has been part of Bayley's set for a few years now. It's a shame that Blaze rarely performs Look for the Truth, The Aftermath, Blood on the World's Hands, or Edge of Darkness—they're all really strong tracks.

Very excited for the show in Helsinki! I was planning to go there anyway (before it was announced that The X-Factor will be played in full), but things certainly got even more interesting now. I've always had a very soft spot for that album, despite some of its weaker qualities, and I enjoy it a lot. I enjoy its deeper cuts a lot and Sign of the Cross is one of my all-time favourite Maiden tunes, so yeah, this is great!

Very happy to hear Blaze's own material as well. Wouldn't mind a second night dedicated to that only, but yeah, next time then! :)

The original poster said special Maiden show plus Silicon Messiah and Circle of Stone, so I'm sure you'll get 30 minutes of that at least!
