Blaze Bayley kicked some serious ass tonight

Yax

Ancient Mariner
I saw him perform this night at the local club. It was a great gig although poor sound. I stood right below Blaze, on the fence. The man would lean out and look at everyone like some crazy maniac while singing his ass off and dropping half of his sweat on my face and t shirt. It was fucking great. I got Silicon Messiah, 10th Dimension and Virtual XI.

He did the Clansman, Man on the Edge and Futureal. Clansman was the real highpoint of this concert along with the closer Kill and Destroy. The Clansman was shortened a bit though. Blaze also played Anger and Sorrow, Blackmailer, The Man Who Would Not Die, Blood and Belief as well as a few more than I don't really remember, sadly. He also said something about that Promise and Terror is a two part tenure and then played something... I don't know if it's from the next album or something? Not sure, I have only heard his latest album once. I'm disappointed that he didn't play Watching The Night Sky though.

Huh, I saw him today and my gig's setlist was a lot longer.  It lasted 2 h 15 min, including Blaze ranting.  Of the Maiden songs, he played also Lord of the Flies as well as the three you mentioned, the closer was Robot (after Kill and Destroy), and then an encore (which I understand is rare for Blaze) of The Launch and Leap of Faith.  From the new album, he played Madness and Sorrow, Anger and Sorrow, 1633, City of Bones, Faceless, Letting Go of the World, and God of Speed.  Less classics, though, only Kill and Destroy, Born as a Stranger, The Brave, and the aforementioned The Launch and Leap of Faith.  I would really have wanted to see Identity, Ghost in the Machine and Stare at the Sun but I saw them last year so it's ok.  From the previous album Samurai, Robot, Blackmailer, The Man Who Would Not Die, Smile Back at Death, and Voices from the Past.  Don't ask about the order, though, there were too many songs to remember the order.

The stage was kind of weird because there was no fence, just a low stage.I was in the second row, he sweated on me too since he was practically straight above me when standing at the edge of the stage. :D  The audience was also one of the craziest I've seen, it made The Clansman awesome.  After seeing the song twice live, I can only conclude that it is THE best Maiden live song. Especially when not played by Maiden, I prefer Blaze to Bruce in this one. :P
