Never heard of them, but I do see that they were on a Maiden tribute album.

I have their album: it has some good songs, but overall it's just pretty much basic metal like I've hear a thousand times before.

Anyway, I heard they got pretty suckish, so I don't know if that's good news.

Ya, the opening act doesn't really matter though since the main reason anyone going is to see Maiden.

I happen to like black tide. They'd be a good opener for Maiden. Surely not as good as DT but it's better than a lot of the other bands out there.

It could be worse ... I can live with this choice ... even if they suck live, by the time Maiden is half way through the first song, I will have forgotten about it.
