Haha awesome ad! I remember seeing the kick on the news (I live in Winnipeg) and it was a hilariously unfortunate accident. Also, the way the ad says "Sam Katz: He kicks children in the face" is just priceless!

Speaking of negative campaign ads in Canada, here is a classic. When Ontario Premier Bob Rae was the leader (1991-1995), an ad went something like this.
The ad shows a picture of a fly swatter, voice-over says "kills bugs". The ad shows a picture of a mouse trap, v/o says "kills mice". The ad shows a picture of Bob Rae, the v/o says "kills jobs".
Unfortunately, this was before the internet so I don't think this one is available on-line. But you get the picture; you just gotta picture it with sound.
