Axe Attack Vol. 1 and 2 compilations

I've recently found this compilations and my question is: are there more of them ?

It seems that Volume 1 is from 1980 and Volume 2 is from 1981 (though, some of the songs in volume 2 are not from '81). A lot of the bands appear on both compilations !

Maybe we can create this kind of compilations for the 80's heavy metal and rock music - particularly NWOBHM (if we know by what conditions the songs are chosen)

Great - thanks for the info this compilations are great - in the 80's was cool to listen to such things, but nowadays we can create one in any time.
