ok i fail with this stuff... what size is the limit for avatars? im trying to upload a fetching image of a sketch i did in a lunch break but its failing badly and i dont know why
also does it matter wether it is .jpeg or .gif?    basically i couldnt find this info anywhere though its probably quite clear and please help me.

To confirm, this is what the board settings are set to. It should give best attempts to resize anything uploaded that's outsize, but if it's really large I'm not confident.
