Are band figurines worth getting?

:yey: I've just seen the Halford figurine ,fell in love w/ it & want to get all 4 JP members figurines if possible when they're done. The Halford one is $99 which I believe is about £40 [?] & pretty ltd  but it's a good one from the looks of it, but it's a *lot* of money for what it is :S [not good w/ money *anyway*]http://www.knucklebonz.com/images/productshots/robhalfordproduct.jpg

I've already got Slash & SIT Eddie, but my nearest rock shop has the same ones for £15.99. I'm not one to collect *everything* JP-related *but* I :wub: this :S God :help: me if they ever do Maiden band figurines !

I'd be very careful with my posts, try to write in good English if possible and use smileys sparingly.  ;)
Besides I'd keep my money to get rare records (e.g. promo cds, rare foreign singles.LP) instead of those dumb figurines.
 
You're the only one who can decide. I personally wouldn't do it, because I don't like this particular kind of thing (the only thing like that I could ever imagine owning is some sort of Eddie)- and I don't have the necessary cash to pay for it. But if you really like it and have this sort of money, why not?
 
For me band figurines are more of an impulse purchase. They just stay there, add a little memorabilia but not much else. Besides, you can appreciate bands more with music they create, and they last forever ( provided you don't break it :P )

Just my 2 cents.
 
Personally, I would not bother with band figurines, but the Eddie from Somewhere in Time is one I would get - the rest of the Eddie figurines look a bit silly - like this one:

It's your choice. As Donuts said, you can appreciate the band more through their music than through figurines. Personally, I wouldn't do it because I don't have that kind of money, and even if I did, it would be more in the spirit of Eddie to buy...oh...lets just say...spirits with it. :innocent:
 
I like the way that one looks, but I would not spend money on it.  It would serve as a nice gift for me though.  :D
