Any Mitch Hedberg fans here?

LOVE Steven Wright! "I dropped spot remover on my dog.... no he's gone." LOL Hedberg is also very good, one of the greats? He's body of work is too small to say. It's like saying James Dean was a brilliant actor... well he only made three movies, he was very good in them, but hell... it's just three movies. My ex loves Hedberg, she'd do his little chuckle often.
 
Yeah he didn't have many jokes but I think he can hold his own with Wright.

"This next song doesn't go something like this, it goes exactly like this..."
 
Hedburg was awesome, and though probably not a great, he was DAMN good.  My fave will always be Carlin, R.I.P.
 
I love Mitch, he's hilarious! It's sad that he died fairly young, but the few albums that he has out are just great. I can only imagine what he would be like today with more time to grow as a comedian.

LOL, if he didn't die, he would probably be dead today. You're right though. I don't see any other outcome for the poor guy. He would be very lucky to get away from that stuff alive. His personality lent itself to drug use anyway. He had wicked stage fright and was very self-critical. Plus he was always looked at as a stoner, so it's hard not to be, especially when drugs offer an escape from his stage fright and self consciousness.
