I wonder if any of you listen to Annihilator. It is Technical Metal, but consists some Speed/Thrash Metal as well. The lead singer, Dave Padden, is pretty good, but he sings similar to James Hetfield from Metallica and it bothers me. I recommend for a song "Hell Is A War" and for album "NeverNeverland". The new albums aren't as great, but they are not bad.

I have the classic "Alice In Hell" album, and I like it a lot. I think everything about it has been said so many times, so I guess I'll have to leave it at that. I haven't listened to any other Annihilator yet, though.

I saw them live a couple of times around the time of the release of "Alice in Hell" (once in support of Onslaught and once headlining at the Marquee) - and on both occasions I was taking a leak when they came on stage and opened with WTYD. Twice, can you believe it. :(

I'm not overly familiar with the stuff after Never Never Land (both this and "Alice.." I have), but I understand they have been consistently good over the time.

But really, Annihilator is a Jeff Waters with others. Trivia note, Waters played all the guitars (lead, rhythm, classical) and bass on "Alice in Hell".
