AMON AMARTH's August 16 performance at the Live Music Hall in Cologne, Germany (with support from CATARACT and IMPIOUS) will be filmed for the group's first official DVD, tentatively due before the end of the year. "There will be a full pyro show and many other special effects in true viking style," reads a posting on the Metal Blade Records web site.

AMON AMARTH are continuing to tour in support of their latest album, "Fate of Norns", available now on Metal Blade.

Amon Amarth are incredible. I'll be patiently awaiting the release of the live DVD. As a Canadian, I seriousley doubt I will have the chance to see them live any time soon.

looking forward to this.
