Dark Millennium, Helloween and Vektor were so good, I really thought they would make it to the finals. But in the finale, I would go for Mirror Reaper.

So here it is, the FINAL. I thought Helloween, Holy Diver (to mention some, Terminal Redux had a good run too, etc) would be here, but the 2 covers are striking. I'm glad Leviathan is so liked - and I vote for it because it looks better to me. Both could have had even more details.

Btw, Leviathan's path to gold is with some impressive wins (from 8th finals onwards), it deserves to win.

Thank you for the fun, cool and great game @MindRuler ! I will participate in any future such game with covers. It was a must. :)

First of all, thank you @MindRuler for hosting and everyone for participating. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed the general layout/the rules. Plenty of great covers, and I'm more than satisfied with the finalists. I love Leviathan, but Mirror Reaper was an easy choice for me. That said, in case people haven't seen it yet, there exists a full painting of Leviathan, only a part of which made it on the album cover:

Two worthy contenders in the final. I'll have to give it to Bell Witch for the amazing artwork. It's just that little bit more refined and deep, although Leviathan is nothing short of an artistic achievement itself.

The full art is nothing short of an epic! Yeah, lots of details and more colors, the one in the game emphasizes the whale, but they are all good and mystical. Not refined, but deep.
