Adam on US Big Brother

Tonight is the season finale of the show Big Brother in the U.S. One of the finalists is Adam Poch a true metal head if there ever was one. Of course this includes Iron Maiden. I have also had the pleasure being friends with Adam for the past 16 years and have attended at least 3 Maiden shows with him. So from the Maidenfans, go Adam!

Big Brother began the dark ages of private television.

That's cool news that you know the guy. Unfortunately I have NEVER seen a single season or episode of Big Brother for two simple reasons: 1. I find the concept of the show utterly stupid and 2. I don't even know what network airs it. I have always found the name of the show pretty funny since it is an obvious reference to 1984 by Orwell, but aside from that I agree with Perun.

I do watch other Reality shows, but mainly to satisfy my sociological curiosity. I find it a great teaching tool when trying to explain social theories to students to use examples they can relate to and reality TV is full of them.

Good Luck to your buddy!

I'd rather be drowned in honey and thrown before ants.

Dutch invention (first season in 1999; since 2000 international; now in more than 58 countries). Sorry guys.  :D

Seen the first season, it was a kind of hype, and it was new, so I was curious.

I don't usually watch MTV/VH1, but when I do it's because of That Metal Show.

It's not on those channels here. I don't watch them anyway, but then, I hardly watch TV at all.

I wouldn't be proud of that if I was you. It's easily the worst thing to ever come from the Netherlands. ;)

I don't watch TV much either, but I do enjoy That Metal Show very much. It's great to see an hour long TV show dedicated to Metal.

When is this show? Is it on MTV2 or something? I only get the one with all the fucking reality shows and the occasional quirky series.

That Metal Show? It's on VH1 Classic. Re Runs are shown frequently, and new episodes are every Saturday at 9 Denver time. Which is the same as Arizona isn't it?

I'm not to sure, did they ever show the one with Jani Lane?

Yes they did. It was alright. Kind of a hair metal episode.

Oh, I don't have VH1 classic. And AZ is technically Mountain Time, but we don't follow Daylight's Savings, so we're on our own time more often than not.

I mainly wanted to see it because Jani Lane unfortunately pasted away not to long ago. Wanted to his what he was up to before the tragic incident.

I don't remember what he was up to, but I remember him being very skinny.
