Accident in Venice, many injured, unsure about fatalities

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate forum as the Iron Maiden show was last night so they are not directly involved but today heavy winds and storms blew down equipment at the Heineken Festival site. Perhaps one person has died and many are very injured. News still coming.

The accident occurred before the My Chemical Romance set. Many trees came down as well as some stage equipment and one of the big video screens.

The park is closed and today's show (Pearl Jam) is cancelled. Probably tomorrow too (Aerosmith/Smashing Pumpkins) but no official announcement yet.

It is all over the news here but everything is in Italian so I cannot understand.

Yesterday there were big storms, thunder and lightening during the day but it had cleared up by show-time and Maiden had a spectacular night. Today is just a tragedy. Everyone here is upset and still trying to get details.

EDIT: Some fans here and posts on other message boards say the death is still a rumour. I hope it is pre-mature to say anyone has died. Some people here are saying there is one death others have just said only injuries reported so far. Very confusing here.

Latest official news say that there are around 30 people injured; 2 of them are in critical conditions, but no one died.
The festival was suspended, and nothing else was decided about the remaining days (probably only the final date will be saved).

Update: they decided to cancel sunday's concerts too.

Awful thing to have happened. Hopefully not all too many have been hurt, and hopefully no fatalities.
