I just got the new Accept album featuring their new singer, and in my opinion, this guy blows Udo away! WOW! This is 80s Accept, the riffs are killer, the solos are amazing, the songs are really great. You guys should pick this album up! I'm still surprised at what I just heard... Wow.  :yey: :edmetal:

Saw them in May here in Manhattan. I was a big fan of the first two albums and saw them a few times with Udo. Mark is a good fit, he fronted a local band here called T T Quick back in the day. He did a good job with the old stuff but he will learn quick that he can't try to duplicate Udo on the high end or he is going to shred his voice. None the less it was fun to see them and i'm looking forward to the fall when they come back with Kings X. I will have to check out the album. The whole May show is on youtube.

Just listened the album for the first time, and it sounds so powerfull!
The vocals are good, much better than Udo's, guitars sound full, some fun nice riffs, solos are fun, nothing amaming here tho.
Overall is a good album, but Teutonic Terror is the highlight of the album, love the song.

IMHO,

BOTN is a success all the way around!  B)

Firstly, No one gave them a chance without Udo, I too was very skeptical at the idea.. but Tornillo sounds like Udo when necessary and better than him in parts.. shades of Brian Johnson/ Udo/ Mike Tornillo

.Basically he is like Udo versioin 2.0 just as good as the original but tweaked to work better..enough  to drop the Udo name and call it Accept/Tornillo Version 1.0 ...

The production is very strong and crisp..Wolf seems to be going for the throat with his guitar work.

My only criticism is that I would have preferred the lyrical matter had been more varied ..a couple of tunes about love and sex would have

been a nod to the past and shown they are not afraid of their(controversial) past.. but despite these minor quibbles, BOTN is hands down a triumph

without question!

The Metal Heart Beats once again!!  :edmetal:

While the band has some really good songs, I couldn't stand Udo's voice.I''ll try this new album since there's another singer for sure.

I think anybody who has seen him live will agree with me that Udo Dirkschneider is a pig. He's a fat, sweaty, filthy piece of meat that probably has fluid coming out of every opening of his pressed body when singing. But Accept without him? He was Accept. Without him, they are just another metal band, probably just a piece of 80's nostalgia that is neither very unique nor very original, and certainly not very interesting. I'm not a very big fan of his voice, but I couldn't imagine Balls to the Walls, Dogs on Leads or any other Accept classic working without him. Those are greasy, sweaty, grubby metal songs that need a greasy, sweaty, grubby metal pig to deliver them.

You forgot "midget".  :)  I'm now curious to hear what the new songs sound like.  Accept had great songs in the 80s, I was listening to some recently, terrific melodies.
