This little sidenote in an article about the Swan Song Records (Do I need to introduce it here?) caught my attention:
[!--QuoteBegin--][div class=\'quotetop\']QUOTE[/div][div class=\'quotemain\'][!--QuoteEBegin--]Both Iron Maiden and The Q Tips featuring Paul Young were considered but not signed.[/quote]
[a href=\'http://www.nationmaster.com/encyclopedia/Swan-Song-Records\' target=\'_blank\']Source[/a]
I think this would be of particular interest to those people who are not sure about the relation between Led Zeppelin and Heavy Metal.
Edit: I just noticed this is actually a Wikipedia rip-off.
Interesting read nonetheless, although it is probably very hard to find any proof to this claim.
