...Heavy Birthday, Invader! Sorry for the delay...

:hbd:

Heavy Birthday Invader!

A special limited edition of Fear Of The Dark (stolen from 'Arry's home) is coming your way.
It contains the following extra ultra rare tracks:

Track 13: An unedited recording of The Apparition, 8 minutes in length.

Track 14: Chains In Misery, with Dave Murray on vocals.

Track 15: A longer version of Weekend Warrior, containing an extra Adrian Smith solo, plus extended end where we can hear a furious Nicko arguing with producer Martin Birch: "..and this is the last damned record you're recording with us!"

Last but not least:
Track 16: A different version of From Here To Eternity, here called From Fear And Darkness To The X-Factor.
It contains totally different lyrics, somewhat illegally penned by Blaze Bayley, who managed to convince Steve to use them. However, Bruce refused to sing these lyrics and forced Steve to rewrite them. Steve did as told and that version we all know from the album we have. The vocals on this track were done by Blaze, when Bruce wasn't around.

:)

Happy Birthday Invader!

Hope you get all that you wanted!

And damn Forostar, thats a good catch :P
Dave Murray on vocals? Fook yeah, i bet he DESTROYS Adrian Smith!

And Nicko arguments are instantly winners.

Heavy birthday, Invader dude! :ok:

But we have a problem...

Obviously, you don't yet understand how things work on this forum...

Adrian Smith is The Supreme Being.
Adrian Smith defeated the Spanish Armada.
Adrian Smith came before both the chicken and the egg.
Adrian Smith taught Humphrey Bogart how to smoke.
Adrian Smith is responsible for continental drift.
Adrian Smith wrote most of Mozart's symphonies. (He let Mozart write the 8th.)
Adrian Smith could clean his floors with a thought, but he makes Dennis Stratton do it.
Adrian Smith invented the bikini wax.
Adrian Smith pick a peck of pickled peppers, and then kicked Peter Piper's ass.
Adrian Smith can make it rain at will.
Adrian Smith could dust his furniture with a thought, but he makes Dennis Stratton do it.
Adrian Smith cooks the world's tastiest chili.
Adrian Smith regularly corresponds with guitarists from other planets. (For example, Steve Vai.)
Adrian Smith just wrote a guitar solo so awesome that hearing it would drive you permanently insane.
Adrian Smith's guitar wants to kill your mama.
Adrian Smith washes his dishes with a thought, because Dennis Stratton is busy washing Adrian Smith's car.

Pahahahaha.
I knew that comment would attract that...um...attention :P
Yes....i HAVE read the website of the Church of Adrian Smith :P

What can i say?

Youre all blind, Adrian Smith is obviously Dave Murray's Finger Puppet!
He's got you wrapped around his little finger!

Unfortunately I couldn't get access to another extremely limited version of Fear Of The Dark.
Only 2 copies are known to exist, in the possession of two certain bandmembers. It contains a 5th bonus track.

Track 17: Beer Is The Key (To What You Want To Be) with Janick and Nicko doing the vocals.
Unfortunately too many beer brands were mentioned and Rod asked Bruce to rewrite the lyrics.

Beer Is The Key (To What You Want To Be)

I'm living my life plastered
I lost what I hold dear
In the heat of the night I drink so much
In the heat of the night I scream "agwblwl!"

I remember a time I chose my abuse
And I drank all the Carlsberg in vain
I remember a time I thought that Heineken was free
In the heat of the night... my arse is aflame

I'm living plastered...

I feel my wavering heartbeat
I taste my Guinness twice
My kidney's lost it's freedom
And the next morning I tell myself all those famous lies....

I remember a time I chose my abuse
And I drank all the Carlsberg in vain
I remember a time I thought that Heineken was free
In the heat of the night... my arse is aflame

Now I return to a world of security
Beer is the key- to where I want to be
I smell the ashtray
The vomit gets it's way
I'm outnumbered by the bastards who want me
To die...

I feel my wavering heartbeat
I taste my Guinness twice
My kidney's lost it's freedom
And the next morning I tell myself all those famous lies....

I'm gonna die

I remember a time I was used and abused
And I drank all the Carlsberg in vain
I remember a time I thought that Heineken was free
In the heat of the night... my arse is aflame

I'm living plastered...

Now I return to a world of security
Beer is the key- to where I want to be
I smell the ashtray
The vomit gets it's way
I'm outnumbered by the bastards who want me
To die...

Hahaha, brilliant, every sentence of it! I laughed my ass off!
:)

First I wanted to do this myself but I am glad I got stuck with the title!
I think I am gonna play this song now, and read these lyrics again!

Good, then you're a member of the divine Church of Duality (the churches of Gers and Murray have been mounted together to fight the evil followers of Adrian Smith). I am the High Priest of Murray and I wish you welcome!

Anyways, Invader, I hope you've had a great birthday!  :yey:

Cheers guys!  The partying was rather light this time around and done already on Friday, since 19 is the annoying age between the two drinking ages of 18 and 20 here (20 is for the strong stuff).  Next year should be more interesting.  My two birthday presents to myself: Flight 666 on Tuesday, and a Blaze gig on Wednesday.  :yey:

P.S. Thanks to Foro and Perun for idea and execution respectively.  I had to stop in the middle and switch to reading another post, I was laughing so hard. :D

You're welcome. Which bonustrack sounds most interesting to you? ;)

Looks like you have a great week coming up!
