A little help here.

There I was, browsing the last.fm "what your friends and neighbours are playing", as you do, only to notice something odd. Mav had just played Ritual by Iron Maiden.

Now, I have every single flipping album and single by Maiden (except one or two needles compilations) and I have no knowledge of this track. At first I thought it might be tagged incorrectly, but by viewing the overview of this track, it seems, Mav, your not alone in playing this track. MaidenFreak plays it also as well as 5 others.

So, could someone enlighten me as to what this is!

P.S. I did check the track listing of the new album, and it ain't on there.

Damn, I should of thought of another band called Iron Maiden. After all, they weren't the first.

According to Wikipedia, the Iron Maiden that did Ritual is from Basildon, Essex.

I do remember reading this article before and sticking in my mind, mainly because of their origins.

Steve did say it was a northerner, but no more. For sure it was during the start of one and the demise of another.
