I know this news is over a week old, but I just found out about this right now. I'm sorry to hear of Clive Burr's passing. This is no doubt an extremely tough time for his circle of friends/family.
It's terrible... I tend to forget that MS is a deadly disease that one can die from, and not...
Might not be any deep reason. Musicians often like to try different things.
I really don't think it was a case of Adrian being "pushed" out. I think he just had his fill being in Maiden at that point, regardless of how the band was going to approach their music.
We do hear new stuff from time to time... when new albums get released.:p:D
Fans can be like hungry dogs sometimes, wanting to gobble up absolutely anything a band puts out even if it's nonsense (like a grocery shopping vid :D). I enjoy listening to Maiden music that hasn't been heard before...
I take it you mean band and not bend...
Why change just the singers (you forgot to mention Paul Day and Dennis Wilcock), why not rotate all the other ex-members who have passed through Iron Maiden? ...similar to what Travis The Dragon mentioned.
Anyway this whole idea sounds beyond terrible...
I'm pretty sure unopened CDs/records will not be of much value. The package must be opened (so you know for sure that the disc doesn't have any playing defects). That being said, the album must be in otherwise pristine condition.
Stopped by your webpage just a while ago for the first time. I like that song "The Train (To Paul)"... the twin guitar sounds nice in stereo. I really like that crazy noizy guitar thing you do over the intro. Some very solid riffs in there as well. :rocker:
...Must remember to try and play this...
Hmm, never heard of that Fogerty episode before. Though I was joking, I do realise craziness like this does happen. After I posted I was reminded of Neil Young's court battle with Geffin records because he didn't sound like himself.
