    Helloween & Gamma Ray

The 2nd single is an 8-minute song! It's written by Sascha and is a classic power metal style from the 80's. Much better to accept than the first single, which frankly could have been a bonus songs - Kiske said they wrote 30 songs for the album! Btw, he said the previous albums was overloaded...

    Bruce Dickinson

I guess he just wanted some changes, the ''reimagined'' part (removing the scram in Cowboys is bad though). And isn't the earlier versions of the song with more such sounds? Overall, a decent and curious work.

    Bruce Dickinson

Overall the BTP remix helped some of the songs to shine more and be heavier, and it was more or less Bruce's original vision for the album, but I also like the original rough production. But because of the many sounds and TMP mix, I feel like the end result (all things) could have been cleaner -...

Yes, Clive's songs are great for him. And I think he played Phantom even faster earlier in the tour. The Arnhem show was very strong. edit: yep, the Arnhem show must be one of the best from the tour. Aces too, even Bruce is happy and jokes with Adrian and Dave. This channel has videos with...

Steve will probably put in some extra effort on his own songs again, but more work than usual, I kind of doubt it. They have their own way of working. Maiden to extend a tour for more than 3 years, changing only the theme but not the overall stage design? Wow, that's not their style- despite...

Songs which you feel can fit into other albums

You know what, it could be. I can see it. Silent Planet is classic Maiden, good call. Well said.

Songs which you feel can fit into other albums

Now that you mention it, Childhood's End would fit the SSOASS material and vibe just great. The drumming and chorus are so specific though, and unique. Me too, especially the chorus. Wouldn't the Seventh Son-esque intro (it works) be ''too fast'' for the album? The rest of the song, I guess...

    Judas Priest

Priest's slightly different stage set for this year's tour reminds me of Maiden's TFP - also for two albums:

What are the top 5 worst Maiden songs?

I think with Starblind they thicked everything in King, so. And what a song is the former! Prog diamond. With a modern production it would be even better. King has a great intro & outro (ofc) plus classic melodies and riff, while the chorus is effective, like in Mercy. It's at least an...

Maybe it depends on the approach of the song (like Writing On The Wall). And would Maiden do that? Quite possible. This. Plus maybe he plays the secret game, who knows. Bruce likes to hype as we know, but what if the hint in the tour video is simply telling and would be obvious. Sometimes it's...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

Without a doubt! I feel Seventh Son is one of the tour's highlights for them, so it won't go anywhere. Along with Rime and Hallowed. And probably the opening sequence. The likes of Hills, Powerslave, Aces, Fear, Wasted... sure.

I thought about that maybe this POM big Eddie on the screen is probably better like this (ok, at least more effective) than if it was inflatable, and I'm not comparing it with the 2005 one. Unlike for example SIT or FOTD big ones. Like because of its approach(!) and style/art.

Bayley-era Maiden vs. Martin-era Black Sabbath vs. Ripper-era Judas Priest?

^I guess the KK's Priest albums are a good example of this.

    Nicko McBrain

You could say that, but I don't think it's fair to compare a cover band with no theme to the setlists and Maiden now (their set is almost perfect for its theme, tbh, so appealing?). And both setlists have 4-5 deep cuts (imo), so it's not far off. Plus, his set is mostly mid-tempo songs. Since...

Time Machine wasn't that easy for Bruce live, but it was nice-to-good and definitely not as tough as Aces. Their rhythm sound has become much weaker both studio and live since 2010, unfortunately. I wouldn't say that. Simon is a more aggressive play drummer, yes. I like both.
