It's the original one. the wear n tear matches up. AFAIK he only had that ONE guitar (or at least, that one Destroyer II) from the endorsement deal they got with Ibanez after touring Japan in 1981.
Look at the post I was quoting. I know he got several guitars as part of his endorsement deal. What I was asking was whether or not it might be the same as the one Adrian was wearing in the picture posted a bit earlier.

For a second I thought it might be this one, which was previously owned by Dave, but this one looks to be a 3-tone sunburst, whilst the one Adrian wears looks to be a 2-tone sunburst...
It's marginal. I did it to a R0 Les Paul I owned, hardly made any difference. Didn't matter though, as I removed the covers for cosmetic reasons only, hah!
I'd like to see Dave bring out the Jacksons and ESP again. There's no chance he's ever going to play the original Kossoff Strat live again (why risk it at this point?).
For H, I'm kind of ambivalent. I've already seen him play his "Piece of Mind" SG, as well as his Goldtop Deluxe live, as well...
The name of the finish of the one with the Strat headstock is either Daphne Blue or Sonic Blue. In certain lighting conditions, it looks like Seafoam Green as well.
The one he used in 2003 was a Wayne Charvel guitar: https://wayneguitars.com
The one in the Hear N Aid video was/is an Ibanez Roadstar guitar, Adrian used the same model, and in fact, recorded most, if not all of Powerslave with that guitar.
EDIT
H played an Aria guitar as pointed out by...
Is it just me or is that headstock painted white (same color as the body)? Some of these pics confuse me, because I know that the original now, has a natural finish headstock (even on tour back in 1986 and onwards), did he perhaps have two of them, or is the lighting throwing me off?
Yeah. I think I've also seen him play it on RTTH from that time period also. I remember reading in an interview that he tried using a guitar with single-coils live, but couldn't work it out due to the 50/60s cycle hum (so many lights/strobes etc onstage). That sunburst guitar has single-coils in...
In the video posted above, Janick wasn't onstasge when H started to play the solo, he only appeared onstage at the end when the solo was more or less over.
I wish they'd do a thorough rig rundown once, either on their own YT channel like Metallica did a few years back, or by letting some magazine come and talk to the crew/band (like Premier Guitar does).
Still don't like it. Only liked the first single and Days of Future Past. They basically continued in the same vein as TBOS, and I didn't enjoy that one either (except for Bruce's 22 min epic and Speed of Light). The last album that they released that I really enjoyed was The Final Frontier. I...
Having done some "research" the Graphic Equalizer is a Boss GE-10 (as it has 10 adjustable frequency bands). Didn't know that he used the MESA for that specific lead, as it doesn't really sound any different from his other tones live at all.
