Based on personal experience, individual tastes tend to develop at a later age. I would suggest exposing them to as many different musical artists/styles as possible and let them develop their own musical taste. My daughter likes some of the music I listen to and has been to gigs with me...

Perhaps they do not like the music and that is absolutely fine. They is no obligation to share your parents' musical tastes, you know?
