    Here's the 1957 Kossoff in a later stage with the pickup rings in the official Number of The Beast video. He's still clearly using a SuperD in the neck in the NOTB era.

    Hard to tell... it could just be the lighting... In the "Live at the Rainbow" 1981 video, he was clearly using a SuperD in the neck.

    Colin Price commented on his IG post. That set was white. The zebras that are currently in there are indeed 2 bridge JB's. That's awesome, and clears up a mystery. Many thanks for this info. Can you PM me Colin Price's IG account as I cannot find it? Would love to see if Dave's using 500k...

    Very good infos overall. One correction, in the very early days, he used a Super Distortion in bridge AND neck of the 1957 Strat up until the Number of the Beast album. This changed right somewhere around the POM album, which was recorded with the PAF in neck spot.

    Necro bump - sorry for this. Where did you get the info that it's an Alternative 8? On a sidenote, these pickups have changed for the black Strat in 2025. He's now using a JB in the bridge and a still undisclosed bridge version zebra Seymour Duncan BRIDGE humbucker (flipped around) in the neck...
