Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

What a pity :(, he was Jan’s tech between Book of Souls Tour and Future Past Tour, I think he quitted because he was going to tour with his personal band or something, and then Alan Sosa took his place in 2025 and is still Jan’s tech. RIP.

Nice! So in my case it would be: FROM DAVE: 1 - CAR/Burgundy Jackson Stratocaster 2 - 1964 Stratocaster 3 - California Series Sunburst Stratocaster FROM ADRIAN: 1 - Gibson Les Paul Goldtop Deluxe (aka The Holy Goldtop) 2 - Lado Earth Silverburst 3 - 2007 8432 Jackson proto FROM JANICK: 1 -...

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Also, about the two Lado basses we all know about, one was the Lado Unicorn and the other one was called the Lado Condor (the one with the crazy shape) This is the Condor: And the unicorn:

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

I found the photo on the following Instagram post, the photo belongs to a Japanese magazine cover. Don’t know the year of the photo, it should be somewhere between ‘86 and ‘88

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

I think I prefer this one than the Unicorn and the other one. It looks way more Steve-esque than the others.

Some news for you, there was a third Lado bass for Steve:

    RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

Guitar-wise, was it the same as in Athens regarding H’s axes?

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Adrian’s 1986 Jackson had a neck with painted headstock at first, but I guess he wanted a custom headstock (modeled after a sunburst ‘57 Stratocaster he owned), and the neck with painted headstock was removed and the guitar got the new custom neck with natural finished headstock.

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Probably this guitar was another prototype and Jackson had it ready for Adrian in case something happened but he never received it. And as it was said, this guitar is gloss white, so it ain’t one of Adrian’s guitars.

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

If you find the photo we can probably see, judging by the finish or so.

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Both black pickguard Jacksons are still on H’s possession, both were the main drop-D guitars between 2008 and 2025, their necks were replaced, Adrian broke the original neck of the 2007 prototype in Freiburg 2018 and got a production one, the 2008 production model had its neck replaced also...

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Also, I forgot to mention, both of the 2007 prototypes had “Made in USA” painted on their headstocks.
  19. sea.of.madness.1986

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

None of the two 2007 prototypes had H’s signature on the headstock. The 8431 (the drop D guitar, the one that was white with black pickguard) didn’t have anything on the headstock, and the 8432 (the one that was white with white pickguard) had “custom shop” written on the headstock instead of...
