RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

I don't agree. How does it get across: "The best" of Iron Maiden, the classics? Could be the forgotten songs from this period. I just tested my friend, who knows Run to the hills als classic Maiden song. He didn't know "run for your lives" is another line from the lyrics. But that is just a...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

I think I found out what's been bothering me all the time: A big anniversary tour has to be all-encompassing, and that's exactly what this theme doesn't convey. Or it should have been clearly called “Part 1, to be continued”. The tour name and poster somehow don't get across that it's this...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

I can't really figure out why it is the “Run For Your Lives” tour. Iron Maiden tours have always had creative, but fitting and easy to interpret titles: “Future Past. Legacy of the Beast”... The best explanation I read so far is Azaz's: It's actually the “Run from your Wifes” tour.

    Accept

Absolutely. I also remember that after Gaby left, a friend showed me what was going on on Accept's Facebook page. Someone from the new management/team apparently thought it was a good idea at the time to post a half-naked woman holding an Accept album. Sure there were some likes, but mostly a...

    Accept

The "tantric tiger witch of Bengal"? :scared: Ahem, no, I would not want to be called that in album acknowledgements. (Not that there is any risk of this.)

Iron Maiden Tour 2025 - Discussion

The problem is the Legacy of the Beast tour. The concept in 2025 shouldn't be too similar, then everybody will call them unimaginative and driving with an almost empty tank. This is a special year in their carreer. They need at least one huge surprise. Maybe the new song mentioned above. A...

    The Future Past Tour 2024

I don't really understand why of all the songs in the setlist they suddenly struggle with the classics they have played a million times.

    The Future Past Tour 2024

So which user was it who knows the health experts to recommend? :D But I think the performance was solid all in all for a first show.

Iron Maiden Tour 2025 - Discussion

When you ask pop fans why they think what they saw was such a huge show you will always find out that what the dancers did was a big part of it. And that is not applicable to Maiden.

Iron Maiden Tour 2025 - Discussion

Sure, Maiden will take a break in the year of their anniversary. Maybe he should have a word with Bruce who already confirmed Maiden shows in 2025.

    Bruce Dickinson

He says several things that suprised me. Also about the house in London, I had heard he sold it and had bought flats around the worls instead. Maybe just a rumour. Maybe he just tried to sell.

    Steve Harris

Maybe, maybe not. :S:S But at least we are more on track now. That is what I said above too. Let's not be too naive when we read such interviews and consider what reasons Steve could have to say what he says.

    Steve Harris

So the chances are good that a new album will be recorded next year, perhaps even at the beginning of the year. Or do you really believe that he would give honest answers about that in an interview? So that the fans can gather in Paris? Come on!

Iron Maiden Tour 2025 - Discussion

There might even be something to this. I remember someone translated an interview with Bruce where he mentioned Steve's surprise that Bruce hadn't an alternative cancer treatment. I don't think a person has ideas like this when they are working with really competent medical care they trust. It...

Iron Maiden News, Links, and Interviews

Oh, intersting. I only found this forum in October. I was a member of several other groups/forums before where nobody thought it was something else than age.

For this study, first an average ticket cost was calculated.

Iron Maiden News, Links, and Interviews

It is indeed interesting that everyone accepted that Nicko's performance last year was a result of his increasing age (before we knew about the stroke). At least I haven't seen a comment anywhere where anyone wrote, no, that can't be it, something else must have happened.

    18th Studio Album discussion

I saw a study in which ticket prices were calculated per minute of concert duration to make a "price-performance ratio". (Source: Jeff Bet analysed data from Pollstar and Setlist.fm from 2019 to 2023) Very expensive: 1) Bruno Mars 2.19 $ per minute 2) U2 2.12 $ per minute 3) Drake 1.81 $...

    Bruce Dickinson

He just sees his opprotunities slipping away, that Bruce no longer needs or wants him. A quote a friend who reads the fan club magazine showed me (Interview with Bruce, last FC magazine): BD: "And we've got a real band! I'm already playing the band demos of stuff I'd like to record for...

    Bruce Dickinson

I read all posts and i didn't find one where somebody commented on the looks of Bruce's wife. That would be something like "Bruce's wife has an ugly nose etc.". Some commenters including me mentioned the heavy photoshopping on the wedding photos, that are not private because he published them...
