I have another idea...Create a setlist that consists of 4-5 hits-staples (IM is one of them), 5 never played-live songs (or played on one tour) and 7 songs that are rarely played (or less if you pick many lengthy songs). I really want to see your setlists.
This would be mine:
1. Moonchild
2...
Also, every good songwriter has his bad moments. He can still write exceptional songs like Hell on Earth ,the Parchment, the Red and the Black or For the Greater Good of God.
I'm sure they will change 2-3 songs, if they decide to do a 3rd leg. I just hope they don't extend this tour in 2027. I hope they will give us something else.
Too difficult to just pick one
The Angel and the Gambler
The Fugitive
The Assassin
Another Life
Childhood's End
Don't Look to the Eyes of a Stranger
Drifter
All of them are pretty bad, some others too.
I think they only played one POM song this time around, because Revelations and FoI were centerpieces on the Legacy tour. I'd like both of them to be played again.
I don't think some of them are "epics". My 2 favourites are Powerslave and Revelations + Hallowed of course. I went with Revelations, but it's a tie between those 2.
Most of my favourite Maiden tracks are 5-8 mins long, not short, but not too long either. So, a tour around these songs would be the ideal for me.
1. Caught Somewhere in Time
2. Ghost of the Navigator
3. 22 Acacia Avenue
4. Phantom of the Opera
5. Revelations
6. Powerslave
7. Montsegur
8. These...
This, opening with 3 Killers songs definitely wasn't ideal. As much as I hate Aces Low nowadays, it should have been the opener and then they could just go Wrathchild/Killers/Phantom, if they wanted to. That leaves room for one surprise as the first encore song, even if it was just "Moonchild"...
