    Most boring classic?

The Trooper. It's obviously a great song, but at this point I've heard it so many times that it doesn't do much to me when I hear it. There are other overplayed classics for sure, but I feel like they are more dynamic than Trooper, which makes them more engaging, I guess.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

In the context of this forum, I find it sooo funny that the two hidden shirts were Wrathchild and AH...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

Objectively speaking, it's an amazing setlist for casual fans. Great selection of hits. For me the biggest thing about this show are the visuals - from what I've seen it looked really interesting and very well designed. Especially during Rime - it seemed to elevate the whole storytelling aspect...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

Background visualisations for Rime looked insanely good. I've always thought drapes and inflatables have their charm and Maiden should stick to them, but this seems like a game changer. Very well designed and cool looking, at least from what I've seen in a low quality video.

    Ghost

The new album is more of a grower compared to the previous two albums (which made kinda definitive impression pretty quick). For me it's one of those situations where the singles turn out to be the best tracks on the record, so the first contact with the rest was slightly underwhelming...

    Ghost

I love everything about this. The song is fantastic, very well written as usual. The sound surprised me big time. Feels retro, maybe even a tiny bit lo-fi, which is a great stylistic choice if you ask me. Definitely harkens back to the vibe of the first two albums. I feel like their heavily...

Yeah, I think it could be this one:

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Does anyone know what practice amps does Adrian use backstage? I think he has a different one now, but I was wondering about the smaller one. Could that be a solid state combo from the MG series?

Simon Dawson is the new drummer

The final decision could have been made a week ago or months ago, but they must have had a plan ever since Nicko’s capabilities became uncertain (after the stroke). So it was a matter of following their idea of how to move forward. However, if they all firmly believed Nicko would play in 2025...

    Nicko McBrain retires

Bruce's comment from the stage about Nicko not leaving the band, just not playing live anymore, makes me think they've already decided to record another album some time soon. Why else would he say that? Surely he didn't mean Nicko will be there for their business meetings. I don't think it was...

Simon Dawson is the new drummer

I wouldn't be so harsh on Steve Lazarus. Yes, these were bad comments, shouldn't have posted that, but I kinda understand the guy's disappointment. It's not like there was no premise to hope his son gets the gig. Let's also remember Joe is not his father, so I don't see how those comments prove...

Simon Dawson is the new drummer

Well, I’m actually super bummed it’s not Joe Lazarus. We have clear evidence that he gets Nicko’s style and plays Maiden songs with great passion and energy. They don’t need anything else than that at this point. Looks like live experience with Steve was the deciding factor, though. As for...

    Nicko McBrain retires

Getting really emotional watching those clips and knowing it's happening right now - the end of a monumental chapter in every fan's book, not to mention the band themselves. I don't doubt they record it all and I hope they'll release it. At least that final Wasted Years, which is gonna be an...

    Replacing Nicko?

It better be Lazarus. I've been on board with him stepping in ever since I saw him play Maiden songs and found out there's a connection between him and the band. Seems like an obvious choice. Okay, he has some plans for next year, but come on... You don't say "no" to this kind of opportunity...

    Nicko McBrain retires

Sad, but also bittersweet. It's been a career of a true legend and a wonderful journey to be a part of as a fan. It's a good closure to have him step down on his terms, at the end of a successful tour. Just imagine the feels being there in Brazil tonight... The wording of the statements from...

    Bruce Dickinson

Cool setlist for a festival appearance. Book of Thel into The Alchemist into Darkside of Aquarius is one hell of a run. We all know Bruce's performances are not perfect nowadays due to his age, but man, he still nails a lot of this stuff. I'll always turn a blind eye to some straining here and...

    Bruce Dickinson

The vocals at the beginning seemed a little rough (maybe because of the lackluster mix) but I enjoy the stream! Curious how the setlist will unfold!

    Ghost

Hopefully they didn't lose money on the film, because they should totally do another one in the future and IMO it should be a full-blown musical. Come on, Ghost is literally made for this - they have lore, characters and Tobias loves cinema, so it seems like a no-brainer.

    Bruce Dickinson

It's really embarrassing what Roy's doing... He has issues and I feel bad for him, but it is also possible he’s just difficult to deal with on top of that. Either way I wish he found peace in this situation, because he’s clearly unhappy. I think Bruce kicked Roy from the lineup after realising...

    Ghost

I saw the film yesterday and it was a reeeally fun experience. The concert footage looks and sounds amazing. I expected a little bit more of the story part but it was a nice addition anyway. The tension was building quite nicely throughout the scenes. Rant: Those fucking cinema commercials…...
