They were slamming the NHS for incompetence. "As it pours upon the floor". Dropping all the blood right on the floor? No blood transfusions with that blood.

I don't think so, but rather a slab of nepotism in involving family members, same as the band has done for a couple of decades now.

I hope not. Rime and Seventh Son played back to back is one of the greatest ever Maiden live moments.

The three weakest IM tracks of the 80s?

This is such a difficult game. Everytime I put on a contender, I go "well, this is actually a really good song". As there are no absolutely weak tracks, I will have to look at the weakest track from a relative point of view. Iron Maiden Drifter Quest for Fire

I would absolutely love this, if Blaze didn't tune down as much as he is nowadays. Maiden aren't going to be playing in D or c# (Might not have done any Maiden tuned to C#, but just throwing it out there).

He hasn't been formally announced as a band member but rather "drumming for us this tour is Simon Dawson". At this point he is essentially a touring member. Another famous example is Andy Sneap in the capacity of playing guitar for Priest.

Their individual stage presence & its changes over the years

Maybe Janick started doing Aerobics. Maybe he really likes Aerobics to the point that he will not waste precious energy on stage. He needs that for the post show workout. :D

    Queensryche & Geoff Tate

Geoff always seem to do better when he's coached, or co-writes the vocal melodies with somebody else, be it DeGarmo, or Tobias Sammet. I really like You Know My Fucking Name, The Answer, Vulnerable, I'll Eat Your Heart Out, Do You Still Believe and Power. But I do agree they would be better...

I thought it was good! Like, musically it's rather different from the original, and as you say borrows heavily from the Key, especially in terms of vocals, but I think it all gels. The thematic stuff is very cool with the lyrics coming from Doctor X's perspective.

At this point, I think everybody is better off if he isn't. The guy is off the rails.

You're (partly) in charge! Choose between 4 options for Maiden's next tour!

3 reunion era tracks of my choice. Easy. Selecting the 3 tracks, that's a different game.

Well, they are samples of his kit blended with live hits, but yeah, the hits sound too big, too consistent and the drum components are too isolated with about zero bleed. I agree with you about AMOLAD, gauging from a perspective of "real sounding drums" over sample replaced (though it sounds...

No, there's nothing that indicates that most of the recording wasn't done live and compiled, especially as they have said as much. The skeleton certainly should be live. Though, the instruments are quite clearly very isolated from eachother so it doesn't have much of the live-in-a-room sound- we...

    Blaze Bayley

You haven't heard his two latest studio albums then. :D They are so heavily and blatantly tuned (the greatest transgressions by far is the tuning of all the backing vocals and doubling of vocals to make them marry the main vocals) I chose not to buy them. The live record a couple of years ago...
