I had no issue with the production of No Prayer. I think the intent was for a stripped down, back to roots sound, also reflected in the tour production

For me it was a combination of the fact I saw them last year, the shorter set, and none of my concert buddies were available to attend made the decision to pass easier. Still bummed I missed it cause Priest is my fav band behind Maiden.

The 90's weren't too kind to Maiden, and most Metal acts in general.

I think also that Richie wants to make his mark in the band creatively rather than just be a fill in guitarist. He's a bit younger than Rob, Ian, and Maiden. Having your producer play guitar on tour doesn't hurt either.

We don’t know yet how many US dates they will do. If shortened I would think it's because what the guys are doing the first part of the year and then the EU run. I don't know where the talk of decline in the US is coming from. What I do know is when I saw them in Charlotte for TFP tour the arena...

The Atlanta show filled out, the reserved seats anyway. Seems tix got real cheap and they offered upgrades as well. Didn't feel like going solo, friends who might have gone were out of town or had other commitments

As far as radio airplay in Atlanta it was Wrathchild and RTTH. That was it...

I'm hoping they will record in 2027 and take their time making it as best as possible. New album tour in 27/28, possibly the last hurrah.
