Interesting cover, the colors work really well, but it would have been even better with one central figure.

    Helloween & Gamma Ray

They are really awesome live and the production looks classy. I like that Kai sometimes sings some parts of some songs live, like Future World or Twilight Of The Gods. Well...the classics from these albums and the other eras will always be forefront.

Pantera - The Art Of Shredding One of the most notable thrash metal songs, big fan of the heavy riffs (the production is perfect for them, you won't get the same feel with a modern sound), the intro sets the mood really well. I would like such heaviness in at least one song on every album.

https://blabbermouth.net/features/andi-deris-is-the-mvp-of-helloweens-historic-reunion-its-incredible-what-weve-achieved-by-sticking-together Nice interview with Andi. Some curious stuff: how do they choose the setlists: ''We decide as a band. We have a band list, a management list and a fan...

    Tailgunner (UK band)

So far - 2 killer and great albums, very strong live band. I'm a big fan. If there's one band that could have a Maiden/Priest future, for me it's them.

What do they have in the Video vault?

Niiiice. It's not one of my favorite tours at all, but it's good to finally hear and see some of the solos better and the better camera work. Seventh Son with a backdrop, Adrian playing WY's intro faster, Bruce with a stronger performance in 2012 (at the end of the dates) than in 2013.

    Helloween & Gamma Ray

First official live video from the tour, one of the (popular) rare cuts. That's how you do it...! Idk if they'll release another live show so soon (from the previous 2 tours were released), so them continuing to release live songs is great. The sound is better than last time, and the footage...

    NOW PLAYING

Judas Priest - Fire Burns Below From the '88 sessions. It would have been a nice/setting the mood ballad-y piece (and for that era) - instead of trying to write a longer ''Defenders Of The Faith'' in the form of ''Monsters Of Rock'' for example (or the cover, ofc). Love the acoustic string...

Induction feat. Kai Hansen - Gods Of Steel (live 2026) No studio version? Straight from the Gamma Ray's textbook. The chorus work really well. The band makes very good power metal, their music with Tailgunner's vocalist Craig is also worthy of praise, classic power metal writing.

    Maiden soundalikes

This actually sounds like a Bruce solo song, from the his ''Trilogy''. Good job. It's also if Maiden got heavier in the 90s, very nice to hear. Simon will like such style. All the songs and albums shared here are enjoyable, Maiden influenced and in vocals can't be mistaken.

    One thing that I don't understand (reunion vs. 1980s & early 90s)

I don't understand it either (even more than the ''live in the studio'' approach), especially with 3 guitars. I think Steve really changed his writing style around 1995. Maybe he always wanted more prog rock with melodies (long intros and outros too, ofc) than classic harmonies and their 80s...

News Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 Rumours and Speculation

Maybe Nicko will make a guest appearance live this year? He's announced a short solo tour in September. Knebworth would be perfect. He said he would do it if the band play near him. Playing Wasted Years, ofc.

    Maiden soundalikes

Very 80s Maiden, plus a little early 2000s vibe. The gallop never gets old! Well done, Dark Forest. Thanks for sharing. Love the harmonies, classic stuff.

News Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 Rumours and Speculation

That's awesome, so happy for Blaze, he deserves it. Steve would probably play with him, but imagine a duet with Bruce (for his set-Clansman, or maybe Iron Maiden, Blaze likes Wasted Years). Steve also said that Blaze is a big part of Maiden! :)

    News Burning Ambition Documentary

This is a surprise and odd. Probably a time thing and something different for them (they like this). I imagine they used some of the stuff they said in the History DVDs. Well yeah (more animations with Eddie!), I'm more interested in rare live footage and sound. True, but they should be...

Which album do you prefer: The Book Of Souls or Senjutsu?

I think the takeoff is the outro part (clever idea), or Bruce's high vocals parts. I like it a lot, it feels very epic even without tempo changes or dynamics, and it could have been with one less repeat (the chorus), but no more imo. Senjutsu and Parchment are some of the Maiden songs that feel...

    Bruce Dickinson

If they continue the rotation (I think they will). I feel the new album could have a bigger representation in the set than last time. Some more and different songs from TOS, BTP (Cyclops), SW, TM ('58) and probably TCW or AOB are to be expected (let's see about TMP), some as rotation. The stage...

    News 18th Studio Album discussion

Adrian saying they still have 1 or 2 albums in them should about Maiden, right. ''As for Maiden, I don't know'' (a secret?; keep going could mean playing live and no new music, which would be a big surprise for the band, even now)? It doesn't make sense to be for SK. Man, he could have said...

    Best New Music 2026 Edition

The new Chez Kane album Reckless is one of the most nostalgic trips into the 80s sound. The material may blend, but the fun and melodic glam will never get old. Literally every song works and has something to grab you. Great vocals, cool solos. The title track has a perfect melodic approach...
