I like The Fugitive a lot. The acoustic intro and solo in the song is really cool. There is a heavyness and atmosphere in that song even though the main riff is quite simple

May be someone should whisper to Bruce that if recording a whole album is stressful for Steve then they could always release singles. One new song like TWOTW with a fresh video would keep the fans happy for a year.

I think given that Senjutsu was recorded way back in 2019, all these guys must have written materials worth 10 new songs by now. Yeah couldn't agree more. I even used to complain about it here in the forum. A producer with a bit more balls would also edit these songs shorter by cutting repetition. But then I say to myself at least I am getting new maiden music. Damn all those tour dates of British Lion and solo tour...

Good point, I think in terms of timeline of recording, late 2022 makes sense (before Nicko's health scare and start of future past tour). But indeed it is more likely that they are planning to record something once the 2025 leg of the tour ends in early August. Maiden usually records super fast...

Did you guys see the latest video from Bruce on the maiden youtube channel? Towards the end he says "we have lots of shows and more stuff i can't talk about because they would have to kill me" For me, this is what he usually says before a new album comes out, no? Thoughts?
