Iron Maiden in the strangest places

Looks like I either misremembered or the stat was from longer ago and it’s worked its way down to #9 over time; I don’t know.

Iron Maiden in the strangest places

“Wasting Love” is apparently the most played Maiden track on Spotify, though. Is it still a deep cut? (I think it was the third single released from FOTD, for whatever that’s worth…)

Iron Maiden in the strangest places

BQOBD was the leadoff single from FOTD and it got a lot of rotation on the metal-leaning MTV shows of its time, so I’m not sure it qualifies as a deep cut…

I finally saw Superman. Messy, but generally good, and the second half felt tighter than the first half. Great casting. DCU off to a pretty good start.

So unprofessional. Who would ever want to work with this guy after he’s repeatedly behaved this way?

Maidenfans Best Albums of the Millennium: 2003 FINAL ROUND

That was me. Killer album, for the most part very hard alt-rock. “Like I Do”, “Lighthouse”, and “The Sanctity Of Dreams” are some of the more obvious highlights, but almost everything on there is great in its own way. Try it before you dismiss it!

Some people recall talk of just an Atmos remix, while others recall an Atmos + “More” style remix. I don’t know that we ever got definitive sourcing on this, but Chris Dale apparently heard a snippet of the updated version and liked it…?

Thanks for reposting the comments. Wow, what a prick. Too bad, since they made great music together for a while; but I’m glad Bruce is cutting the dead weight and moving on.

Finished my first full listen, and for me the first six tracks are clearly superior to the originals, but then it starts to come off the rails a bit. “Shoot All The Clowns” doesn’t benefit from the added horns, and the emphasis on the lower vocal harmonies is weird. “Fire” is a mixed bag, but...
