Caught somewhere in time would HAVE to be the opener if it's played. Wouldn't work anywhere else honestly. If it isn't revealed as the opener in a few hours, it's pretty much not getting played I'd bet. Will be a sad moment for me :(
I was there too for that and it was the first time I won FTTB and brought my uncle who saw them back in the 80s with me as my guest. it was awesome! We saw the Raven Age by ourselves after the ticket card meltdown and everyone outside getting rained on. First show of a new tour is fantastic and...
my favorite song from SSOASS aside from Infinite Dreams. I wish so bad for that song to be played. It would be insane for this tour to have deep cuts from multiple albums like maybe Still Life from POM can replace Trooper.... man I can dream but tomorrow we will find out
have you heard tribute bands play those songs with other systems? It is awful lol... I figure Maiden have found a work around as Steve wouldn't want to play something he thinks sounds awful. Yes I am a geek to that degree with my music. I love music and the guitar tone from that album IMO is...
my biggest concern is the guitar tone on SIT songs. I have heard various bands play SIT songs well but without that GK guitar tone, they sound awful and have yet to see anyone other than 1 guy in Ireland get close to replicating that sound. I hope they have found a way as most of those songs...
I can't wait for the tour shirts to come out. The SIT artwork is my favorite and there's loads of old shirt work from 86-87 they could do like the alexander the great eddie and Christmas SIT eddie if they get around there. Money will be spent lol
they could have done Maiden England as a Seventh Son and SIT tour and that would have been the coolest thing.... but, yet again a missed opportunity. I get they were doing it around their concert release from 1988 but they didn't do Infinite Dreams or Killers or Still Life which irks me to this...
There is a part of me that fears that CSIT will be passed over and maybe Alexander too. I would sadden me but not surprise me. If they can't make it work well live, they won't do it. I'd love to hear deja vu but that's likely more a wet dream than the prior 2 mentioned.
guess we will find out about our predictions in 8 days for the set list and as sad as it is to say, those of us state side may suffer the loss of one or two tracks when they come here next year for a USA leg. It happens all the time and sadly, back in 86 too when they dropped Sea of Madness...
first time seeing them in 2000. Was in 5th grade with my uncle. lol Favorite tour was SBIT. No decent camera phone back then (iPhones were ok then)
2016. First time getting FTTB and it was the first gig of the tour (a goal of mine since 2005) and gave the "friend" ticket to my uncle. He's a...
not in my top 10 but not horrible. Good moments like Final Frontier but lacks consistency for me. Book of Souls was awesome so this was a sad follow up for me.
well, if they play Only the Good Die Young, I'd be ecstatic. I saw the pic and was like, that is the SSOASS album... what relevance does that have? Then I saw the time stamp on OTGDY.
