We'll see. The documentary announcement is a kind of PR hype for tour dates. On the other hand, Foo Fighters' Australian dates were announced some 2 weeks ago. Not too soon for another stadium tour down there?
In the press release, we may read that they are going to play more than 50 shows this year. I think there are some 4 - 5 shows in Australia and Japan to be added.
Canberra is placed between Melbourne and Sydney, too close. The shows could cannibalise themselves. I think a better option would be Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane (Showgrounds) with 25k capacity per show.
I think they do some indoors in Brisbane, Perth and two mid-size stadiums in Melbourne and Sydney. Probably they'll visit NZ too (indoors) and two shows in Tokyo, probably Saitama Arena (domed stadium). With Megadeth as the target support the tour with 7 dates should do well in terms of sales...
Source: Blunt Magazine, rather reliable, I'd be surprised if the last dates of Maiden tour look just like Motley Crue/Def Leppard in Japan and Australia. They can use even half capacity mode in case of slower sales...
Thx. Now we are talking about the further dates of 2026. I've published my conception, similar to Tool dates from 2025 (Nov/Dec). Maiden could go the same imho.
Exactly!

There's one problem. Good Things Festival embraced three cities (Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne) and 3 consecutive nights. No way Maiden'd play in this format, but two cities in a row - OK! Looking at Tool's schedule...
Some trivia on Greece shows (IM and Metallica).

Just my guessing, nothing assured. As I thought over our (mostly your) predictions about ticket sales. Eventually, all 81 dates revealed so far should sell well over 2 million tix, including festivals, of course. If so (rather for sure), it would be a very good result without scheduling dates...
