They are playing at the O2 in London on a Tuesday and on a Thursday. Even without knowing the prices, I'm out. I saw the band on the Time Machine tour in 2011 playing Moving Pictures (one of my favourite albums of all time) in its entirety. There is no need to tarnish those memories.

It was a nice surprise at an excellent gig.

Yesterday I went to see Smith/Kotzen at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London. Great gig, superb musicianship, and the unexpected surprise of Bruce singing Wasted Years with them. Next one: Manic Street Preachers at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the Teenage Cancer Trust charity concerts...

The exclusive material was indeed available at the gig, but I think £50 for a 7” record is a bit steep…

It was an excellent gig - superb musicianship - and having Bruce as a guest on Wasted Years a nice and unexpected surprise. That being said, the best thing was meeting @Ascendingthethrone in person (I think we only mentioned Aces High live once).

He has also written The Angel and the Gambler and a good number of stinkers over the years! :lol:

I have a Return of the King on the Japanese edition of The Chemical Wedding. Bought it online back in the day. It is a cracking song!

There are obvious nods to Soundgarden and Nirvana on the album too.
