Happy to see someone else list Transylvania.
That studio version of that song struck me as just ok however when I first heard the BOH version I was blown away.
And I still am when I hear it now.
I'll agree with all of these with the possible exception of Out of the Shadows.
And I'll throw in The Educated Fool, Gates of Tomorrow and Isle of Avalon.
I'd been trying to avoid the live videos but I surrender.
What's the best version to watch the concert straight through on Youtube? By that I mean songs in order of the live show.
I first saw Metallica as an opening act in June 1988 on the Van Halen’s Monsters of Rock tour. They were fucking brilliant. Check out this setlist, wow.

Scorpions kicked ass that day too. Unfortunately...
For me it’s Fear of the Dark from this list.
And I increasingly find myself skipping Run to the Hills and The Trooper, very good songs but repetition fatigue has set in.
The finals in the Worlds match Switz / US, a tough call for me because I'm U.S. but the Swiss team is led by players from my NHL team the New Jersey Devils: Timo Meier, Jonas Siegenthaler and Nico Hischier (Devils' Captain but unfortunately injured earlier in the tournament). Either way I'm...
I fully expected CSIT once they announced the focus was on Somewhere in Time / Senjutsu. It was the opener on the SIT tour which I saw as a teenager. I'm also glad they played Celts although I'd like to see Parchment one day.
My two biggest surprises were 'The Prisoner' and 'Can I Play With...
I am re-watching The Song Remains the Same movie by Zeppelin for the first time in maybe 15 years. There’s a very good reason they are consistently held in such high regard. They earned it.
You had me at I Love SIT.
It’s my original and by far my all time favorite IM album.
I was thrilled with the focus in the last tour.
I just get a gut feeling that for this next tour they will pick a different tune from that album.
I’d be equally thrilled if it’s Loneliness or Deja Vu.
I just listened to each of these.
I love Brainstorm. It's like Syd Barrett-era Floyd crossed with Iggy & the Stooges. I just get hypnotized by the groove.
Take those same elements and add some Ziggy Stardust and you have Silver Machine.
I hadn't heard Lost Johnny before but I already like it...
